Barko-McHugh Locomotive Crane
The Barko-McHugh self propelled hydraulic knuckle boom material handler is a proven versatile machine to add to any railroad Maintenance Of Way Department. Barko Hydraulics, LLC and McHugh Locomotive & Crane have developed a material handler for use on any railroad ranging from the large Class 1’s to short lines thruout the USA. Currently available in two models, The 695MH is equipped with a 51 foot boom and the 795MH is equipped with a 59 foot boom. Both models meet the current ANSI, ISO and SAE standards for knuckle boom rail mounted loaders, along with FRA and association of American Railroads criteria. The units also meet AAR plate “C” rules for dimentions of height and width allowing them to operate beyond rail operations located at industrial plants
