Barko’s “Floating Cab” is a vibration isolated cab that provides a quieter, smoother ride and less operator fatigue.
Multi-functional, dual-joystick controls are ergonomically designed to provide greater accuracy, higher productivity and increased comfort. Boom rotation can be operated from the joysticks instead of the foot pedal if specified.
 Designed to be durable and comfortable, the suspension seat offers 4-axis adjustability, tilt and the best lumbar support available. Seatbelt Harness provides operator safety. Armrest is equipped standard with servo shut-off switch for operator safety and pivots up and out of the way to allow easy and safe entry and exit.
Overhead instrument panel keeps instrumentation out of site-line, providing the best view of the work at hand.
 Digital gauge panel with enhanced monitoring features and electronic throttle for improved performance.


Gas-assisted cylinder provides smooth and easy door use. A seal encompasses the entire perimeter of the door to prevent dust, debris and smoke from entering the cab. Rain-drip edges keeps operator and cab dry when opening door. Door hinges are equipped with zerk grease fittings to eliminate squeaks.
 Wrap-around lighting from front to back provides clear operation during darkness. Individually switched for operator control.
Heavy steel screen guard provides operator safety, while wiper keeps a clear view for continued productivity during less than optimum conditions.
Electrically powered tilting cab allows crawler to meet transportation regulations and provides convenient storage.

Boom is designed specifically for durability and the toughest applications. At the base, Barko booms are 30% to 50% wider construction, providing the strongest boom available. Rotary manifold allows for 360º degree continuous boom rotation, while providing electrical and hydraulic power to the lower frame. 32” ground clearance provides optimum performance and maneuverability.
Rock guards protect rollers from damage and extend product life. Drive motors and hydraulics for tracks are guarded and sealed for protection and extended life, reducing repair costs.

Barko engineered, lower control valve box is conveniently located to allow for easy connection and towing of auxiliary equipment. Valve box is constructed of heavy steel for protection and unlatches for access.
 Bolt-on cylinder glands provide easy serviceability on-site, reducing downtime, while piston wear rings extend product life. All cylinders are made of heavy wall steel tubing; and heavy chrome plated cylinder rods are induction heat-treated for added strength.
Zinc plated tubing provides extended product life. The strongest and highest quality hoses are used and are carefully designed to be routed and protected to provide less wear, extended life and reduced maintenance costs.
 Quick battery disconnect kills power instantly for added safety. Located just outside cab door for fast access.
Hydraulic oil site gauge acts as a visual dipstick to instantly show hydraulic oil level.  Located just outside cab door.
 Centralized hydraulic control valves are conveniently located and easily accessed by removing protective plate just outside cab door, providing ease of maintenance.
Turntable greasing system is conveniently located just outside cab door for ease of turntable lubrication.
 Antenna storage is designed into cab, protecting it from damage or loss.
For easy serviceability, all wires are labeled for their functionality. Air filter provides cleaner/safer air to the pressurized climate controlled cab.
Easy access oil filter provides quick and convenient service. Hydraulic pump directly below hydraulic tank provides the optimum gravity flow for improved efficiency and performance.
