FEATURES & BENEFITS

Features & benefits of the following models: 930 and 937 Industrial Tractors

Barko’s “Floating Cab” is a vibration isolated cab that provides a quieter, smoother ride and less operator fatigue.

Multi-functional,
dual-joystick controls
are ergonomically designed to provide greater accuracy, higher productivity and increased comfort over all variations of terrain.

Re-engineered for optimum site-line for the work at hand, the Barko 930 provides the best ground visibility, making your work easier, more accurate and safe.

Barko delivers, by far, the most power to the working head. By using the largest pump, properly sized to the engine and the working head, we produce a whopping 5,000 psi of pressure to the head. When comparing industrial tractors, don’t be fooled by the horse power that the engines put out. Any engineer will tell you it is about the pump. And Barko’s pump puts out 165cc while most other's put out 130cc. That’s 27% more power.

Barko “Terrain Control” is an add-on option and allows the mulching head to follow the contour of the ground as the machine travels through the work site. This produces more desirable results, while making the job easier.
Advanced climate control and soundproofed cab provides operator comfort for all environments and applications. Cab comes standard with a complete suite of diagnostic controls, Blaupunkt CD/Radio, speaker system, CB Radio, non-slip flooring and an emergency exit.

Specially designed door-tilt
holds door open and Gas-assisted cylinder provides smooth and easy door use. A seal encompasses the entire perimeter of the door to prevent dust, debris and smoke from entering the cab. Doors are equipped standard with servo shut-off switch for operator safety and a low latch on the outside provides easy cab access.
Overhead instrument panel keeps instrumentation out of site-line, providing the best view of the work at hand.

Designed to be durable and comfortable, the knee-action seat offers 4-axis adjustability, tilt and the best lumbar support available. Four-Point Seatbelt Harness provides operator safety.
Armrest pivots up and out of the way to allow easy and safe entry and exit.

3 power outlets come standard for operators’ electronics (laptop, Ipod, etc.). 2 are keyed and 1 is unkeyed (has power when mulcher is turned off).

An Air-knife provides a shield of air to keep the ½” bullet-proof, Lexan windshield clean and dry. A Barko designed, forward slopping cab enhances the effectiveness, providing the clearest view of the work at hand while providing the safest conditions.

Wrap-around lighting from front to back provides clear operation during darkness. Absolute best 360º degree visibility in the industry.

Emergency brake pedal for emergency stopping provides added protection for operator and mulcher.

2 speed transmission allows for quick travel to and from the work site, while low gear is for ease of operation during mulching.

100% filtration of all hydraulic oil and fuel throughout the entire engine provides extended life and reduced maintenance, providing you higher productivity and less down-time.
A high pressure return filter is engineered into the engine
to prevent debris from damaging the pumps and valves, providing extended life to pumps and valves and reducing your repair costs greatly.

Fire wrapped components provide protection for the operator and for your mulcher.
Advanced engineered 45º degree articulation joint
provides the longest lasting , most durable joint in the industry. Designed to withstand extreme stress and tough terrain.

Bolt-on cylinder glands provide easy serviceability on-site, reducing downtime, while piston wear rings extend product life. All cylinders are made of heavy wall steel tubing; and heavy chrome plated cylinder rods are induction heat-treated for added strength.
Weld blending and engineered sweeping curves
provides added strength to high-stress areas, prolonging product life and reducing down-time. Barko products outlast the competitors and have a much higher resale value.

Cover-plates and guards are bolted on and are used throughout the entire construction of the machine to prevent debris from getting into the machine, prolonging product life, reducing service costs and maintaining optimum performance. Superior fuel efficiency – large tank allows operator to fill up less often to save time and money.

Hydraulic Fan that reverses itself every 15 minutes (automatically), self-cleaning, flushes out debris from the environment, makes it run cooler and more efficiently. Lowers maintenance. Electronically controlled. Equipped with a manual override. Debris-guarded engine compartment keeps engine clean and provides extended life and increased engine efficiency.

The strongest and highest quality hoses are used and are carefully designed to be routed and protected to provide less wear and extended life. Centralized Lube Station provides ease of maintenance.

Locking panels provide protection from vandelism and theft.
Built-in work Lamp for emergency service situations…enables you to be more productive…keeping you prepared for when the unexpected happens

Clean external design sheds debris. No external engine components protrude from the exterior shell. 30,000 lb capacity, hydraulic winch is optional. Controls are already integrated into the design of the mulcher and the winch simply needs to be attached. Operator controls the winch from the cab, and can operate both the machine and the winch simultaneously, improving performance while providing operator protection. Letting out cable can be done directly at the winch.
NOTE: Components vary from model to model. Design principals remain constant. Barko Hydraulics reserves the right to change product specifications without notice.
